About Dr. Navaro
I became a naturopathic doctor after experiencing firsthand the challenges of navigating a complex healthcare system. In my early twenties, I struggled to find affordable, meaningful care that addressed the root causes of my health concerns. Later, while caring for my grandmother with multiple chronic conditions, I witnessed how even dedicated physicians were constrained by time, insurance limitations, and a system that prioritized specialization over integration.
I initially pursued a conventional path in medicine, shadowing physicians and planning for medical school. But I found myself questioning a model where so many talented, compassionate doctors were unable to practice the kind of patient-centered, whole-person care they longed to offer.
Eventually, I stepped away and spent time working in regenerative agriculture—growing food, restoring soil, and learning from nature. It reminded me that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in systems. And it requires time, care, and the right conditions.
That’s what led me to naturopathic medicine: a field that blends modern diagnostics with natural therapies, and makes space for the complexity of the human experience. It allows me to offer care that’s grounded in science, guided by nature, and deeply individualized.
Today, I support patients who want to understand their health more deeply and feel better in a way that lasts. My role is to offer thoughtful, evidence-informed care that helps people feel empowered, motivated, and truly seen. Healing happens when we listen closely—and I’m here to do just that.
I earned my doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed two clinically focused residencies—at Emerald City Clinic in Seattle and Healing Roots Center for Transformation in San Diego. I’ve also trained in IV therapy, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, yoga, cardiometabolic health (IFM), mistletoe therapy for cancer care, and aesthetic microneedling.
In my free time, I’m most at home in nature—hiking, traveling, growing food, and making herbal remedies. I see the healing patterns of the natural world reflected in our bodies every day.
